Piccolo, Dorothy P. (Pelkey) 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. 
Born in Rutland, VT, she was the beloved wife of the late Louis V. Piccolo and the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Adams) Pelkey.
Mrs. Piccolo was an excellent seamstress for many years before her retirement. She created and altered beautiful garments for friends & family. She was a member of St. Ann’s Altar Rosary Society and a caretaker for the elderly.
She is survived by her loving children, Louis Piccolo of FL, J. Robert Piccolo and his wife Sandra of North Providence, and Christine Gould of Providence. She is also survived by her 8 loving grandchildren; Brian, Stacy, Jimmy, Trisha, Anthony, Jason, Lauren, and Lindsay and her 3 cherished great-grandchildren Andrew, Ashley, and Isabella. She was the sister of the late Edward and Richard Pelkey and mother to the late Patricia Piccolo.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 18th from 9-10:30am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Edward Food & Wellness Center, 997 Branch Ave., Providence, RI 02904.
