Anderson, Edith V. 86, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2018.  Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice (Cioci) Altieri.

Edith worked for over 30 years as a secretary in the guidance department of North Providence High School.  She was loved by the thousands of students she encountered and had a positive influence on their lives.

She is survived by her children Robert Anderson, Holly Carosi, and Robyn Anderson, her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was the sister of Anthony Alteri.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 8:45 AM from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St. Providence.  Calling hours will be held Friday 5 to 7.  Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
