Evelyn Balasco (DiMeo) 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on Monday, April 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Balasco.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose DiMeo.
Mrs. Balasco and her husband owned and operated their family business Vienna Bakery in Barrington from 1958-1989.
She was the loving mother of Joseph V. Balasco, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters, Marley, Jillian and Chelsea Balasco; a brother, John DiMeo and a sister Estelle DeShaies. She was the sister of the late Marie DiMeo.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 10am in Emmanuel Baptist Church, 529 Charles St., Providence. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Barrington. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
