Caputo, James V. Jr, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 23, 2017. He was the husband of the late Anna F. (Aucone) Caputo. Born in Providence he was the son of the late James V. and Antonetta (Pascale) Caputo. He was the owner of James V. Caputo and Son Painting Company. He was an avid gardener and loved to share his vegetables with others. He made his own wine, and he was known for his Italian cooking. He was a very religious man , and he had a smile for everyone. He is survived by his loving children, James V. Caputo III. and Janet C. Stone. She is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of Alessandro Caputo and the late Albert and Anthony Caputo. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christion Burial on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St. Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
