Russo, John A. Esq. 65, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2017.  Born in New York he was the son of the late Mary Leah Carvill.  John was an Attorney in Providence for over 20 years.  He received Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University, and a finance degree from Bryant College.  He was a member of the Rhode Island and American Bar Association.  He was also a member Edward Gallogly Family Law Inn of Court, as well as a member of the Sons of Italy.

He is survived by a brother Thomas Boyd, a cousin Margaret Serra, and her two daughters Victoria and Rachael Serra, two nieces, his longtime legal assistant Linda Corsi and many colleagues, and his beloved dog Ariel.  He was the brother of the late Patricia Boyd.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 at 9AM in the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence.  Calling hours will be Thursday evening form 4 to 8 PM.  Burial will be private.
