John L. Steele “Jack” 77 of Warwick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving children on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Phyllis M. (Gregory) Steele.
Jack was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Providence for 44 years before his retirement.
He is survived by his loving children, Jacqueline Simmons, Joyce Simmons and her husband Tim Smith and Charles Simmons and his wife Nicole. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Brya and Araya Howell, Cassandra and Devin Irons and Timothy Simmons.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 25th from 10am-12pm followed by words of remembrance. Burial will be private.
