Smith, Karen Ann 62, passed away at home on August 6, 2017 with her loving family by her side.  She was the loving wife of David Smith.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Armondo and Anna (Spinella) Zangari.

Beside her husband she is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Ana Truchon, and Vanessa Smith, a granddaughter Gemini Smith.  She was the sister of Anthony Zangari and his wife Gina, Bette Ann Zangari, Cynthia Martin, and Tammy Martin and her husband Joseph Fioyd.  She was the aunt to Paul Baccari, Falon, Frank, and Phillip Martin as well as aunt and great aunt to several other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Phillip Martin.

A funeral home service will be held on Thursday August 10, 2017 at 2 PM in the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence.  Calling hours will be held Thursday from 12 PM to 2 PM.
