Taniya Bonilla born 12/07/06 from Providence, past away unexpectedly Saturday 02/11/17 in her home. She was the daughter of Yessenia Acosta and D'Artagnan Bonilla both from Providence and she leaves behind her brother Star'Lin Bonilla. Taniya was a 4th grade student at Pleasant View Elementary School in Providence. She loved sports and her baby doll Emily. She is survived by her grandparents Eddy Cristina Acosta and Henry Acosta, Santos Bonilla, and Wellington Bonilla and aunts Jacklyn De La Rosa, Dayanni Acosta and uncles Jose De La Rosa, Luis "Alison" Bonilla, Ariel Bonilla and Anwar Bonilla. She is also survived by her godfather John Pagan and many cousins and relatives. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 17th at 10am at St. Charles Church, 176 Dexter Street, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm.
