Angelo Broccoli

Angelo Broccoli, 49, of Providence, passed away Friday January 20th.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Graziano and Maria (Bucci) Broccoli.

Against the odds, Angelo with the caring of our beloved mother Maria and family, and also his perseverance to live, was truly an angel in his own right.  Bedridden for his entire life after suffering a brain injury at birth, he was still always pleasant, embracing anyone who saw him with a gracious smile, as if he knew he was born at a disadvantage and more than willing to accept it.  He was given less than two years to live, I reiterate again, against the odds, he was able to grace us with his presence for nearly a half a century.  He will be truly missed as a constant and pinnacle of mine and my family’s lives.

He is survived by his brother Davide C. Broccoli; an uncle, Italo Broccoli, as well as numerous first cousins in Italy.

The bond we had together - A bond of love and care. Yet, somehow something tells me You are watching over me - Now that You finally are free. I miss you so very much, And my tears I cannot hide. Yet, within my heart, I feel You are always by my side. Ever since you went away, Life has never been the same. Yet, it comforts me to know That one day we'll meet again.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
