Leo Cirello, Jr., 79 of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 21st, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Carosi) Cirello for 55 years.
Born in Providence, son of the late Leo and Phyllis (Manzo) Cirello.
Mr. Cirello was employed by the State of Rhode Island for 32 years After retiring he enjoyed playing and watching golf, and frequenting various casinos.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Susan Cirello Furtado (Victor) and Mark Cirello; a sister, Ann Iacone; two grandchildren, Connor Cirello and Catherine Cirello; two nieces, Linda Blais and Christine Bandieri; four great nieces and nephews, Jessica Paolucci, Sarah Wanderley, Matthew Bandieri, and Michael Bandieri; as well as many great-great nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Wednesday, January 25th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
