Matilda V. "Millie" Caranci

Matilda V.  “Millie” Caranci (Angeloni), 87, formerly of North Providence, passed away in Daniel Island, SC on Tuesday March 12th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony B. Caranci, Jr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Americo and Assunta (Pannone) Angeloni.

Millie was employed by Donatelli Construction for years and then at the Rhode Island Family Court, CASA Office, before retiring.  She will be missed by all. The family would like to give special thanks to her son-in-law, Robert Bianco for taking full responsibility in taking good care of everything for Millie.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bianco and husband Robert, and Maria Blanchette and husband Eugene; a granddaughter, Kristin Vingi and husband Cory; and a great-granddaughter, April Capri Vingi. She was the sister of the late Ann T. Blanchard.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Tuesday March 19th, 9:00 -10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence.  Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.  Family kindly request to omit flowers and make memorial donations to: The Alzheimer’s Association of RI, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
