Agnes 'Debbie" Teto

Agnes “Debbie” Teto, 82, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, April 27th.  She was the beloved wife of Roland Lapierre for 45 years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Gilda (Medeirous) Rego. She worked in the jewelry business for many years.  In her younger years, she enjoyed watching her husband participate in car racing.  She will be remembered as a very generous person, who always put everyone else’s needs before her own. Her two grandsons were her passion.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Anthony Teto and his wife Michele of Johnston; two grandsons, Nicholas Teto and Nathan Teto; and a sister Mary Bertoldi and her husband Gulio of Providence.  She was the sister of the late Joseph Rego, Alice Rego, Fern Vandetti, and Elsie Rochio.

Funeral services will be private.  Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Continuum Hospice, 1350 Division Road, Suite 205, West Warwick, RI 02893.
