Albert Mucci Jr.

Albert Mucci, Jr. 71, of Lincoln and formerly of North Providence, passed away Monday August 21st.  He was the beloved husband of Jamie Lee (Elliott) Mucci for 48 years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert and Catherine (Amato) Mucci.

Mr. Mucci was employed as a Printer for the Providence Journal, retiring in 1994.  He enjoyed football, playing poker, and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).

He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Anthony Mucci and Andrea Mucci Voyer; a sister, Cynthia Pinheiro; a nephew Nicholas Pinheiro and his wife Tobie, and their children, Angelo, Abigail, and Arlo.

His funeral will be 10: 00 am Friday August 25th from the A.A, Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Visiting hours are Thursday, August 24th, 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
