Amelia Mancini "J'Amelia"

Amelia Mancini “J’Amelia” (DiBonaventura) passed away peacefully on her 100th Birthday on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Mancini Sr. and mother of the late Joseph Mancini Jr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Vincenza (Testa) DiBonaventura.

She is survived by her loving children, Anthony Mancini, Darlene Wiggins and her husband Dave, Cheryl Mansuetti and her late husband Alfred and Mark Mancini and his companion Lauren Palmisciano. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Janell Mancini, Jeremy Wiggins and his wife Stefania, Ciara and Kimba Mansuetti and dear great-grandchildren, Anastacia and Jalen Mansuetti, Michael, Brandon and Tyler Abreu and Luca Wiggins.

She was the devoted sister of the late, Joe, John, Peter, Rocco and Dominic DiBonaventura.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 12th at 9am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm.
