Angel Luis Garcia Figueroa, 76, of Providence, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on November 18, 2018. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Daniel Garcia and mother Aida Figueroa. He was the beloved husband of Asela Garcia for 22 years.

He was loved by everyone and will truly be missed by all. Those who knew him best will always remember the smile on his face and his love for his family and friends.  A very selfless, loving and giving man, he enjoyed the simple things in life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Maximo Garcia and his wife Carmen, Angel Garcia and his wife Edeline, Gustavo Orlando Garcia and wife Maria, Israel Solano and fiancé Gissell, Israel B. Solano and wife Tasha, daughter Perla Galasso and husband Stephen. He was the loving grandfather of Johann, Eveliz, Aislynn, Crystal, Jonathan, Leslievette, Enmanuel, Claritsa, Carmen, Viviany, Mia, Ava and Amelia. He also leaves behind seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Alicia, Vivian and Olga Ramos as well as brother Juan Diaz Figueroa.

A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 10am at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow at Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 5-8pm.

El Señor Ángel Luis García Figueroa de Providence de 76 años pasó a mejor vida de forma pacifica al lado de seres queridos el 18 de Noviembre del 2018. Nacido en Ponce Puerto Rico, era hijo del fallecido Señor Daniel García y de la fallecida Señora Aida Figueroa. Era el amado esposo de Asela García por sus últimos 22 años.

Era un hombre amado por muchos y ciertamente será recordado por todos. Aquellos que le conocieron le recordarán por su sonriza y por el amor que compartió con su familia y amistades. Fue un hombre amoroso, caritativo y no egoísta y disfrutó las cosas simples de la vida.

Además de su esposa le sobreviven sus hijos, Máximo García y su esposa Carmen, Ángel Garcia y su esposa Edeline, Gustavo Orlando García y su esposa María. Israel Solano y su prometida Gissell, Israel B. Solano y su esposa Tasha, su hija Perla y su esposo Stephen. Amado abuelo de Johann, Eveliz, Aislynn, Crystal, Jonathan, Leslievette, Enmanuel, Claritsa, Carmen, Viviany, Mia, Ava, & Amelia. También le sobreviven siete bisnietos. Le sobreviven también sus hermanas Alicia, Vivian and Olga Ramos junto a su hermano Juan Diaz Figueroa.
