Anna Grace Watt-Morse

Anna Grace Watt-Morse, 31, died suddenly on July 30, 2022 from complications from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. 

She is survived by parents Peter and Peg Watt-Morse, sister Mary Ellen Watt-Morse and brothers Jacob and Paul Watt-Morse and Doris Singleton, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Anna was born on August 11, 1990 at Magee Hospital.  She graduated from Falk Laboratory School and the Ellis High School and attended Carleton College. 

She was a scholar, dancer, visual artist, and athlete (runner and snowboarder) who loved the outdoors. Described as brilliant, funny and kind and so much more.  She valiantly battled Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome for many years, including concussions, major surgeries, pain and disability caused by this disease.  She cared about social justice, reproductive rights and was a resource for and friend to others with EDS. 

The memorial service for Anna will take place this Saturday, August 6, at 2 pm, at the Sixth Presbyterian Church (Forbes and Murray) with a reception after the service.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ehlers-Danlos Society or Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania.
