DiNitto, Anthony, 78 passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 30, 2018.
He was the husband of the late Elena Y. (Campagna) DiNitto. They had been married 56 years prior to her passing. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Carmine and Fortunata (Tiammello) DiNitto.
Anthony was a manager for Almacs Supermarket prior to its closing. He owned and operated the Kelly’s Hamburger in Providence for many years. He worked as a driver for the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home for many years. He was an active member at the Rosario Society, he enjoyed bowling and playing golf.
He is survived by his loving children, Anthony R. DiNitto and his wife Audrey, and Maria DiNitto and her fiancé Dr. Richard P. Ironfield, and his grandson Walter G. Anderson III, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carmine DiNitto.
His funeral will be held on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 8 AM from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St. Providence. Calling hours will be held Saturday 8 to 9:15 AM. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
