Anthony Pierre

Anthony Pierre, 84, of Providence passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Born in Aux Cayes, Haiti, on November 4, 1935, he was the beloved son of the late Richevet and Stella (Anestin) Pierre.

Anthony was a builder and welder in Haiti for many years before retiring and moving to the United States.

He is survived by his loving children, Carlo B. Lorminey, Berthony and Gilbert M. Pierre, Gilberthony Noradin,  Margareth Belone, Marie Soline Elie, Marjorie Boursiquot and Johanne Occean; brothers, Samson, Kesnel, Lucien, Itcel, Micanor and Jean Claude Pierre and sisters, Gisele, Felicite,  Locita, Isabelita, Soeurette, Immacula, Anotide and Antoinette Pierre.  He is also survived by 20 cherished grandchildren and 13 dear great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, November 7th from 9-10:30am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 239 Oxford Street, Providence. Burial will follow at North Burial Ground, Providence.
