Benjamin L. Lorello

Lorello, Benjamin L., 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Lucy (Rastrelli) Lorello. They were happily married for 69 years.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Bennie and Theresa Lorello and brother of the late Joseph Lorello. 

Ben worked for Walco Electric for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and The Knights of Columbus. Ben was also a Veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. He enjoyed playing golf. The most important thing in Ben’s life were his family and friends. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son, Benjamin Lorello, a cherished granddaughter, Kristen Lorello and a devoted brother, Edward Lorello. 

Ben’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 15th at 11am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence.  Burial with Military Honors will be private at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben’s memory may be made to St. Ann Church, 2 Russo, St. Providence, RI  02904 or stannri.org (click on parish giving link).
