Betty Ann Goolgasian "BA"

Betty Ann Goolgasian "BA", 70, died unexpectedly on September 6, 2022. She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, University of Rhode Island, and received an advanced degree from Providence College. She was a speech and language therapist in the Providence school system for many years before her retirement.

Betty Ann is survived by her mother, Viola A. Goolgasian, and was her devoted caregiver for many years. She was the loving sister of Agnes Zanfardino(Frank), Martin Goolgasian (Linda), and sister-in-law Marie Goolgasian. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Goolgasian, and brother, James J. Goolgasian . She was the aunt of Christopher Goolgasian, Jennifer Gennarelli, and Robert Zanfardino and great-aunt to Katherine, Jonathan, Ashton, and Roman.

Betty Ann will be remembered by many of her neighbors for her kindness and her willingness to help anyone with a problem. She was known to be an animal lover and was devoted to her many pets during her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family.

 Visiting hours will be Wednesday, September 14th from 9-11am in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. A Service and inurnment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
