Carolina Y. Lama

Carolina Y. Lama (Nina) 78, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Roberto Lama.

Born in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Julio and Juana (Espinal) Nina.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Everin Perez, Roberto Lama and his wife Soraya, Julio Lama and his wife Maria, Emmanuel Lama, Ivan Lama and his wife Heather, Jason Lama and his wife Chelsea and Steven Lama and his wife Connie and siblings, Patria Nina, Victor Nina, Anna Almonte and Cesar Nina. She is also survived by her 20 cherished grandchildren and 11 dear great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 15th at 8:45am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Michael Church, 239 Oxford St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Thursday June 14th from 5-8pm.
