Caroline Ricci

Caroline Ricci (Mastrostefano) 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving & devoted family.  

Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Louise (Iacono) Mastrostefano.

Caroline (Kay) was the owner of Bogey’s Pub for many years before retiring. She had many interests including gardening, cooking, baking, knitting and reupholstering furniture.  She also was an avid reader and loved to be by the beach.  She was happiest when with her family and was a strong support to all of them. 

She is survived by her loving children, Caroline M. Pellegrino, Thomas J. Ricci and his wife Lori and Mary Lou D’Andrea and her husband Joe and her late son Joseph Ricci.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, David L Crudele, Julie L Olobri and her husband Jake, Matthew T Ricci and Thomas D Ricci; dear great-grandchildren, Elysa M Olobri, David LCrudele Jr. and Peter J Olobri and devoted siblings, Joyce Stevens and Antonio Mastrostefano. She also leaves her nieces and nephews. 

A service will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 2pm in the Redwood Chapel in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence. Procession will begin at 1:45 at the gates of Swan Point Cemetery.  Inurnment will follow in Cedar Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
