Carrie Lynn Young

Carrie Lynn Young, 45, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away March 19th.  She was the beloved wife of Michael Young.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Donna (McQueen) Rivard and the late Leo Rivard.

Whie in Rhode Island, Carrie worked hard to become a nail technician and started her first nail salon.  After moving to Florida, she waitressed for many local establishments before opening Simply Hair & Nails in Tavares, Florida.  She eventually worked to obtain a real estate license and became a realtor. 

She will always be remembered as the brightest light in every room and for her infectious personality.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a brother Joseph Rivard and his wife Amanda; and 3 nephews, Skylar, Joey, and Preston.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Friday April 12th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon.  Burial will be private.
