Cecile Giglio

Giglio, Cecile L. (Migneault) passed away peacefully on December 4, 2018.  Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Malo) Migneault.  She was the widow of Harry Giglio.  She was the mother of Evelynn A. Geremia and her partner Ronald W. Maloof and the stepmother of the late Gerald F. Giglio. Besides her daughter, she leaves her loving grandchildren, Dr. Gina M. Geremia, Andrea L. Trottier and her husband Scott J. Trottier, her great grandchildren, Seth J Trottier, Sean J. Trottier and Abigail L. Leighton as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of Armand Migneault, the late Louis, Normand, Arthur and Raymond Migneault, and the late Annette Lefebvre and Irene St.Pierre.

Cecile loved spending time with her family, reading the newspaper, completing the daily crossword puzzles and listening to Frank Sinatra tunes.  The highlight of her week, always, was going to the home of her daughter for Sunday dinner.  Much to everyone's amusement and delight, Cecile also had a knack for unintentionally rhyming her words as she spoke and for composing special birthday poems for her family.  She was immensely proud of her two granddaughters and for being the great grandmother of three.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 9:45 A.M. from the A.A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Anthony's Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, December 14 from 4 - 6 P.M.
