Moroni, Charles, 60 of North Providence, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence on September 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Renzoni) Moroni. They were happily married for 34 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Charles “Chet” Moroni and the late Amalia “Molly” (Abbruzzese) Moroni.

Charles was President of Windmill Landscaping Inc. for more than 40 years and was instrumental in its longstanding success. He was a master of his craft and passionate about delivering the highest-quality results for his clients. In his free time, Charles enjoyed tending to his yard, reading and personal investing.

Charles was a devoted Christian; he was a longtime, active parishioner of St. Ann Church in Providence. Above all else, Charles cherished caring for his family and spending time with loved ones.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son Charlie Moroni and brothers David and Ralph Moroni. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Francis and Carol Renzoni, his three nieces, his great niece and many cousins and friends.

Charles was a man of great faith and will be welcomed by his loved ones that have passed on.

Visiting hours will be held Monday (MORNING) September 18 from 8am-10am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
