Charles F. Pollock, 82, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday August 18th. He was the beloved husband for over 50 years to the late Rosalie (Izzi) Pollock.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Reginald J. and Elizabeth (Sterling) Pollock.
Mr. Pollock was employed at the H.F. Hanscom Company for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid Duckpin Bowler.
He is survived by three sons, Charles “Chuck” Pollock, Jr, John Pollock, and Michael Pollock, all of North Providence; five grandchildren, Nicholas Pollock, Alyssa Pollock, Lesly Pollock, Jacob Mello, and Chelsea Mello; two great-grandsons, Nicholas Pollock, Jr. and Amurry Pollock; and a dear family friend, Annemarie Sevigny. He was the father of the late Jimmy Pollock, great-grandfather of the late Helia Pollock, and brother of the late Mae Boudreau, Richard Pollock, and Robert “Pinky” Pollock.
The funeral will be 10:00 am Tuesday from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Visiting hours are Monday, 4:00 – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
