Cheryl G. Sullivan

Cheryl G. Sullivan (Widgeon) 71, of Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of James Sullivan. They were happily married for 49 years.

Born on April 28, 1950 in Nassawadox, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William and Joyce (Vincent) Widgeon.

She was employed at various Nursing Homes as a housekeeper for many years before retiring.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Woods and her husband Brian and Tammy Sullivan. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Juan, Rayna, Corina, Tamesha, Curtis, Johnnie, Jelani, Larentae, Amari and Aniyah and 6 dear great-grandchildren. She was the loving mother of the late Sandy and Charles Sullivan; devoted grandmother of the late James Walker and sister of the late William, Shelia and Juanita Widgeon.

Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7pm. Burial will be private
