Obituary

   

Christine B. Brazeau, 72, of Lincoln passed away Saturday May 15th.  She was the beloved wife of Dennis Brazeau for 53 years.

Born in Pawtucket and raised in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Helen (Dean) Grimley.

Mrs. Brazeau was a woman of great faith. She was a member of the Marie Rivier Association since October 1988. She was an active member of The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, where she taught Confirmation and First Communion Classes. She was also a devoted member of the Father DiOrio ministry since 1979. She will be remembered as being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was the heart and soul of her family.  Family was most important to Christine and she was blessed to always be around them.

Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Christen Costa of Lincoln; a son, Derek Brazeau and his fiancé Kirby Rachlow of North Providence; three grandchildren, Ashley Dang and her husband Tuan Dang, Jordan Brazeau, and Julian Brazeau; and five siblings, Robert Grimley, William Grimley, Patricia Asquith, Howard Grimley and Jack Grimley; and a half-sister, Susan Gordon.

The funeral will be Friday 10:00 am from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1080 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence.  Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visiting hours are Thursday, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
