Concetta A. DaSilva (Bucci) 90, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Rodrigue DaSilva. They were happily married for 69 years.
Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angelina (Pesaturo) Bucci.
Concetta was employed by the Department of Employment Security and the Department of Mental Health for the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Rodrick E. DaSilva and his wife Barbara, Janet M. McHale and her husband Michael, Paul J. DaSilva and his wife Melissa, Maryann B. Duffy and her husband George and Carol-Ann DaSilva; as well as sisters Anna Costa, Angela Viola, Dolores Norberg and Antonia Hornig. She is also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren, Michael, James, Andrew, Matthew, Carina, Logan and Kyla. She was the sister of the late John Bucci, Marie Matarazzo, Frances DeCristofaro, Agostino Bucci, Carmella Hebert and Arthur Bucci.
Additionally, her family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the administration, health care professionals and support staff of Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care afforded to Concetta during her extended stay there.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 23rd at 9am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
