Concetta M. Romano

Concetta M. Romano (Ponticelli) 90, of Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 2, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Romano.

Born in Bristol, RI., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mariaelena (Ausanio) Ponticelli.

She is survived by her loving children, James Romano and his wife Patty, Peter Romano, Debra Romano and Cheryl Acquaviva. She is also survived by her 5 cherished grandchildren, 9 dear great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 7th 9:30-10:30am at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
