Debra J. Paone

Debra J. Paone (Izzi) 54, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was the beloved mother of Julia L. Paone of North Providence and the late Olivia M. Paone.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Denise Zednik (Gauthier) and her husband Ronald of Johnston and the late Richard Izzi.

She is also survived by a loving sister Marlene Macri of Warwick as well as three stepbrothers, Ronald, Ralph and Thomas Zednik and their families.

Debbie leaves behind her former husband and friend Russell Paone and his partner Dr. Paul Ferbend. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. 

Debra worked for Stop & Shop for over 30 years in a variety of customer service roles before retiring due to illness. She had also worked alongside her sister in many restaurant ventures. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors. She had a kind soul and would give the shirt off her back.

Visiting hours Thursday, February 25th from 8:30-10:30am at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
