Dorothy A. DiCicco, 90, passed away peacefully at the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Born in North Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antimo and Filomena (Madonna) DiCicco.
Dorothy worked for VA Hospital for many years before her retirement. She was given a Performance Award by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
She was an avid beach goer. She loved the holidays and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Joseph Garganese and sisters-in-law, Betty DiCicco and Beverly DiCicco.
She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
She was the loving sister of the late, Harry, Michael, William, Amelia and Mary DiCicco, Jennie Melfi, Patricia Stancampiano, Helen Coletta and Lillian Garganese.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 22th from 9-10:30am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence.
