Edna (Laurie) Acquaviva, 84, passed away on January 3, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Odina (Valiquette) Laurie. She was the beloved wife of Joseph M. Acquaviva, Jr.

Edna was a member of the St. Ann’s Organization and a Eucharistic Minister at the Church of the Presentation.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children; Susan Zagroski and her husband Walter, Joseph M. Acquaviva, III and his spouse Timothy and Theresa Romano and her husband Joseph, as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Arthur Acquaviva and her sister, Lorraine Fisette.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, N. Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM at A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, 1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904. *PLEASE NOTE* The Hawkins Street overpass is closed due to construction, therefore the funeral home is only accessible via Branch Ave.
