Vazquez, Edward 83, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2018.  He was the loving husband of Ernestina (Hernan) Vazquez, they had been married for 53 years.  Born in New York he was the son of the late Edward and Maria (Santiago) Vazquez.

Mr. Vazquez was an army Veteran and served over 30 years in the U.S. State Department in multiple foreign locations.  He was an avid stamp collector, he had a penchant for quoting movie lines when a moment of levity was needed.  He was a good and generous man with a big heart and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  We will miss him dearly, God Bless.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Edward (Leslie), John (Anna), and Diego (Kristine). Also survived by his grandchildren Katherine, Vincent, Sophia, Peter, and a sister Maria. Funeral Services will be private.  His funeral services are entrusted to A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Edward’s Name can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942
