Obituary
Eleanor G. Volante, 89, of passed away Monday October 30th. She was the beloved wife of Louis Volante, Sr. for 70 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Mancini) DeNicola.
Mrs. Volante was employed by the State of Rhode Island retiring after 30 years from the General Treasurer’s office.
She enjoyed racquetball and ceramics.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Louis Volante, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie, John Volante, and Robert Volante; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Vincent DeNicola.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 2nd at 11:00 am St Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
