Elizabeth G. Borden

Elizabeth G. Borden, 75, of North Providence,  passed away Friday December 31, 2021, surrounded by her family.   She was the beloved wife of the late Tyrone “Ty’ Borden for 53 years.

Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late John Fabiano and Marie Tella.

Mrs. Borden was employed at the Heritage Hills Nursing Center for 33 years, before retiring. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by four loving children, Colleen Bailey and her husband Brian, Rhonda Sansone and her husband Gary, Cindy Borden, and Tyrone Borden; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Linda Freitas and Patricia Coelho; and a brother, John Fabiano, Jr.  She was the mother of the late Annie Borden.

Visiting hours will be Saturday January 8th from 9:00 - 10:30 am at the A.A. Mariani & Son, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence.  Masks are required.   Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
