Fatima M. Montalvo

Fatima M. Montalvo, 66, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11th.  She was the beloved wife of Manuel Genao.

 Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Eduardo and Norma Montalvo.

She enjoyed cooking, a passion she was able to perform for many years, working in the catering business.

 In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three loving sons, Elvin Lama and his wife Berthzalia, Edward Lama and his wife Hannah, and Luis Cepeda and his wife Patricia. She leaves behind nine grandchildren, Elvin Luis, Isaiah, Arianna, Nayrene, Edward II, Gianni, Nayrenis, Nathaniel, Austin. Her loving brothers, Rafael Montalvo, William Montalvo, Julio Montalvo, and Victor Montalvo.

 Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Sons Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Friday September 16th, from 9:00 am -11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
