Filomena C. Iannetta (Caccia) 89, of Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Giorgio V. Iannetta and devoted mother of the late Felice P. Iannetta and Ivana Iannetta-Pearson and grandmother of the late Phillip Naismith-Iannetta.
Born in Scapoli, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Beniamino and Amalia (DiTommaso) Caccia.
Mrs. Iannetta worked as a custodian for the Providence School Department for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marisa Barone and her husband Lucio; cherished grandchildren, Stefania Pinheiro and her husband Paul, Lucio B. Barone, Jason Pearson and Cristina Pearson and dear great-grandchildren, Ava Pinheiro, Domenic Pinheiro and Jared Naismith.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 19th at 11am at St. Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends attending will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Visiting hours and burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
