Florence C. Romano

Romano, Florence C. (Riquier) 99, of Manville, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent “Ted” Romano.

Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Aldora (Morais) Riquier.

Florence was a waitress at the Embassy and Bocce Club for many years before retiring. She loved working and her customers.  Finally, at 84 years old she retired and enjoyed working in her yard.

She is survived her loving nieces and nephews, Fernand Poulin, Susan McAssey, Jane Dubois, Richard Dubois and Francine Dubois. She was the sister of the late Cecile Gibert, Annette Poulin, Irene Dubois, Armand Riquier, Auther Riquier, Leo Riquier and Alphonse Riquier.

Her funeral and burial will be private at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
