Francis A. Bardsley Jr. “Allen” passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 21, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Claudette (Coletti) Bardsley.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Francis A. and Emma (Eaton) Bardsley.

Allen was employed in the maintenance department at CCRI in Lincoln before his retirement. He was a member of the Newport Dealeys U.S. Destroyer Escort Squadron, Tin Can Sailors, Inc. and the National Association of Destroyer Veterans. He was also a Navy Veteran during the Lebanon Crisis serving aboard the U.S.S. Van Voorhis- DE1028.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving sisters in-law, Mary Jane DiMarzio and her husband Ralph, Rosemary Feeney and her husband Larry and Lynda Nagle and a brother in-law, Thomas Scott. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Muriel Scott and brother in-law of the late, Michael Coletti.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 26th from 9-10am followed by a funeral home service at 10am in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
