Frank R. Bellino

Bellino, Frank R., 98 passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma (Ricci) Bellino. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Annina (Falcone) Bellino.

Mr. Bellino attended Classical High School where he was a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, baseball and football. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island he was in the Coast Guard during World War II. He then taught physical education and ancient history at Classical High School while coaching their football, baseball, and basketball teams.

He was the loving father of Susan Falcone, Karen Bernstein(William), and the late Linda Litchfield. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Jason Litchfield (Lori), and Adam and Laura Bernstein. He was the brother of the late Antonio, Ralph, Alfred, Henry, and Frances Bellino, and Rita Parise.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, November 5th from 8-9am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence.
