Frank P. Florio

Frank Peter Florio, 85, of Providence, passed away Thursday, January 20th. He was the beloved husband of Cecelia (Opito) Florio for 60 years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James and Pauline (Discepoli) Florio.

Mr. Florio was a caster in the jewelry industry for many years.  In his spare time, he  enjoyed gardening, drawing, painting, and puttering around his home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Florio; two brothers, James Florio and Anthony Florio; two sisters, Linda Moretti and Patricia Colardo; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Maria Florio and Paul Florio.

A memorial service is will be held at a later date.
