James J. Casino. 97, formerly of Providence, passed away Thursday November 9th. He was the beloved husband of the late Angelena (Petricone) Casino.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Leonardo and Domenica (Barone) Casino.
Mr. Casino was employed by Durastone Concrete Company for many years, prior to retiring.
He served in the United States Army and was former President of Local Union 271.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Casino and his wife Anna; as well as several generations of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his nine siblings Laura, Connie, Melia, Mary, Napoleon, Ralph, Leo, Vincent, and Richard.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence Tuesday November 14th from 11am -12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will be private in St Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
