Pono, Janice M., (Capobianco) 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester A. Pono. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Chiaverini) Capobianco. She is survived by her loving daughters, Donna Croce and her husband Frank and Kristin Sousa and her husband Richard. She is also survived by her cherished grandson, Benjamin Sousa and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Linda Capobianco and Dolores Desautel. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday (MORNING) July 5th from 8-10:15am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence.
