Jean E. Jodoin

Jean E. Jodoin, 63, of North Providence, passed away unexpectedly Thursday September 7th. He was the beloved husband of Sharon L. (Polce) Jodoin for 36 years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Emma (Benoit) Jodoin.

Mr. Jodoin was employed for Praxair Transportation before retiring. He had previously been employed by George Mann Company, and the DiCenzo Construction Company.

He was a member of The Bouffard Council Knights of Columbus and The Smithfield Elks Lodge.

He enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing, hunting, cornhole, darts and was taking flying lessons to obtain his pilot's license.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Mathew Jodoin and his wife Kimberly and Jonathan Jodoin and his wife Jennifer; two granddaughters, Emerson and Rylee; three brothers, Richard Jodoin, Lawrence Jodoin, and Robert Jodoin; and a sister, Anne-Marie Warner. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo Jodoin.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Thursday September 14th, from 9:00 am -10:15 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
