Joann Rezendes

 Joann M. Rezendes, 83, of Providence, passed away Thursday, July 15th.  She was the beloved wife of the late James M. Rezendes.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Laurenza) Taccone.

Mrs. Rezendes was a supervisor for B.B. Greenburg Jewelers, and she also had been a nurse at Roger Williams Hospital.

She enjoyed going to Block Island during the summer.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Christian of Woonsocket; a brother, Joseph Taccone of Lake Wales, FL; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late James J. Rezendes and Kathleen Rezendes, and great-grandmother of the late Taila-Lynn Sylvia.

A Mass Intention for her will be held on Sunday, August 1st at the 9:00 am mass at St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence.  Burial will be private at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
