Lawrence Bolvin

Lawrence Bolvin, 67 of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John C. Bolvin Jr. and Arline B. (Hopkins) Bolvin.

He is survived by his loving children, Holly Ryan and her husband Michael, Lawrence Bolvin and his loving partner Justine and Christopher Bolvin. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Michael and Isabella Ryan and Brayden Bolvin.

He also leaves behind his devoted siblings, David Bolvin and his wife Heather, Gerald Bolvin and his wife Joanne and Lizanne Douglas and her husband Michael along with many nieces and nephews. He was the beloved former husband of Mary Bolvin.

He was the brother of the late John, Arline and Christopher; a late brother-in-law, Mark and late sister-in-law, Susan.

Lawrence was a lifelong and spiritual communicant of St. Edward’s Church in Providence. He was a class of 1974 graduate of LaSalle Academy and later attended Community College of RI and Providence College.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 10th at 10am in St. Edward’s Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted.
