Louis Sergiacomi

Louis Sergiacomi, 86, formerly of North Providence, passed peacefully on Friday July 9th, 2021, in Mesa Arizona.

He was born on April 7th, 1935, to Luigi Sergiacomi and Adelina (Franciosa) in Providence, and moved to North Providence in 1965 where he resided at 54 Great View Avenue until the late 1980s when he retired to Palm Beach, Florida which was his residence until his death.

Louis was widowed in 1986 and was married to Jeannine Dalvina (Therrien) for 31 years. He is survived by 5 children, Louis Sergiacomi of Ayer, MA, Michael Sergiacomi of Phoenix, AZ, Paul Sergiacomi of Miami, FL, Donna Makavos (Sergiacomi) of Phoenix, AZ, and Cindy Vadenais (Sergiacomi) of Phoenix, AZ.

He has 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with a second great-grandson due in early September.

Louis was self-employed and was the founder of Sergiacomi and Sons Plastering until his retirement in 1988. He was a co-founder and first president of the Little Dribblers Association which sponsored boys’ basketball and sponsored a little league baseball team in the 1970’s. He was a member of the Rhode Island Builders Association and a congregant of St. Anthony’s Church in North Providence. In 1990 he retired to Florida where he enjoyed playing tennis and serving as the President of his condo association for many years.

His immediate family held a private service on Thursday July 15th, and he is buried at St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI.
