Margaret Mary Andrews

Margaret M. Andrews, 71, of North Smithfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 4th, which was her 54th Wedding anniversary to her beloved husband James Andrews.

Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Margaret (Stanley) DeCosta.

Mrs. Andrews was known as “Nana” to everyone, and she was the happiest when she had a baby in her arms.

Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Steven Andrews and his wife Yolanda of Cumberland, Stacy Andrews of North Smithfield, and Matthew Andrews of North Smithfield; four grandchildren, Katherine Andrews, Christopher Andrews, Matthew Andrews Jr, Alexis Andrews, and Ashley Silva; a brother Manuel DeCosta of Pawtucket; and 2 sisters, Tempest Joyce of Kingston and Joyce Audette (deceased); a step-brother Michael DeCosta of Pawtucket; and two step-Sisters Diane Dessert Pawtucket and Evelyn DeCosta of Cumberland.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 9- 10 am at St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. Burial will be private in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket
