Mary G. Ekpong (Dunston) 79, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at home.
Born in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Christana (Clifton) Dunston.
Mary worked for Quilt Pen for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her husband Bassey Ekpong (Separated),loving son, Charles Jones; sisters, Mattie Hull, of Virginia,Evelyn Winters and Varisa Duston, Rhode Island, and a brother, Michael Dunston, Canada. She was the sister of the late Willie Mae Beasley.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 12th from 9-10am followed by a Service at 10am at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow at North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends attending will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
